What our content is, and what it is not.
The content on this website, in the Intel brief and in FlowSpex Watch alerts is general information about export controls, sanctions, customs and shipping. It is not legal, tax, customs or compliance advice. It does not create a client relationship with FlowSpex.
We summarise and link official publications: laws, ordinances, regulations, notices and sanctions lists. Only the text published by the authority is binding. If our summary and the official text differ, the official text applies. Check it before you act.
Classifying goods, screening parties, applying for licences and shipping are your decisions and your responsibility. A FlowSpex brief or alert tells you where to look. It does not tell you that a shipment is allowed, or that a party is clear.
We check our work and test Watch against the official sources every week. Even so, we cannot promise that the content is complete, correct or current at all times. Rules change quickly, and publication by the authorities can be late.
To the extent the law allows, FlowSpex accepts no liability for loss or damage from using or relying on the content of this site, the brief or the alerts. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains. Details are in the terms of use.
We link to the websites of authorities and others. We have no control over the content behind those links and are not responsible for it. If you find a broken or wrong link, tell us at hello@flowspex.com.
Example shipments, sample alerts and figures on this site illustrate how FlowSpex works. Customer and partner details in samples are removed.
